CNY Brunch at Marigold Drive after run at 7am on Sunday 13 Feb 2011. Please email Mark the food you are bringing.

If you are reading this email today (9th Feb) , then, Happy birthday – this being everybody’s birthday ( 人日).

Last week was all the festive runs – CNY first day run, and then Sunday run at ECP (plus Sat for SLR runners). Attendance is not great but ok as everyone might be busy.
Not too many places for breakfast although by last Sunday, most places are back to normal. There were some queries on the accuracy on the statistics of whether this is first time Lily turn up on consecutive Sundays etc and of course statistics lie – so just read everything at face value.

There was also a singing audition – this time it is not Wong Can’t sing but Lee Can’t Sing. Of course, I am referring to Bunk Kah Lee, namely The Indian. We welcome him back after his declared “flu” – cough, cough. No, we did not ask him to sing He Xin Nian but Silent Night. Glad to report that he is making progress.

Back to more eating. We will have our CNY gathering in the form of a brunch after Sunday run. I hope our Social chairman will organize the dishes and the drinks.
In view of this, I have decided that we can start a bit later so that we do not wait too long. Of course, the alternative is to run longer. So, for the first time ( statistics again !) , we will start our run at 7 am. ( of course, we will really run at 7.15 am, if we are lucky ??). Non-runners can join brunch later.

Ok, see you at Marigold Drive at 7 am on Sunday 13th Feb. Will  wait till  Sunday instead to wish you Happy Valentine.

Regards
Yoke Weng
